Grass Roots is a family run business with over 30 years of experience in the Grassing and Landscaping Industry. We are committed to providing outstanding services as well as growing an exceptional, quality product. We are growers of Instant Lawn and supply many different landscaping companies, as well as the public in Durban, Kwazulu Natal and surrounding areas.

Instant Lawn
Grass Roots are Growers, Suppliers and Installers of Instant Lawn and Runners. We supply many different Landscaping Companies as well as the public. We grow 4 different varieties on our Farm in Cato Ridge: Cynodon Dactylon – fine lawn used on sports fields, grows in full sun ONLY; Kikuyu – great for colder climates and grazing of animals, grows in full sun ONLY; Berea Shade – thicker bladed lawn that grows in full sun as well as semi shade; and Royal Blue/RD93 – fine grass that you can find on cricket wickets and golf greens, grows in full sun ONLY.

We make it our priority to look after nature and restore what has been destroyed by previous generations for future generations. Make giving back your priority and let us help you achieve that desired indigenous garden to save our world for generations to come.

We also construct, rehabilitate and maintain Cricket Wickets, Bowling Greens, Golf Course greens and T Boxes. We also offer specialist maintenance services ie.Scarification, de-thatching, fertilising, spraying of weeds & top-dressing.
